The Unicel C-7605 is a pleated polyester cartridge filter element engineered for commercial and high-capacity residential applications, delivering 50.0 sq ft of effective filtration area through a Reemay nonwoven polyester media pack with nominal 20-micron filtration efficiency. The element is constructed with molded end caps mated to a structural core sized for compatibility with Baker Hydro HM-50 single-cartridge filter housings. End cap geometry and OD tolerance are held within ±0.030 inch of OEM specification to ensure bypass-free seating against the housing manifold and base seat. Media construction supports continuous operation at standard pool water chemistry with rated service temperatures to 104°F and commercial-grade pressure tolerance suited to elevated bather-load circulation systems.
Service interval recommendation for commercial installations: 30–90 days depending on bather load, turnover rate, and source water quality, with replacement triggered at ΔP ≥ 8–10 PSI above clean-filter operating baseline or upon visual inspection failure (fabric tears, pleat channeling, end cap separation, core deformation). Maintain a documented ΔP log per local health code compliance requirements. Chemical compatibility: polyester media rated for continuous service at ≤ 10 ppm free available chlorine; muriatic acid soak at 1:20 dilution compatible for calcium scale removal (20-minute maximum exposure, rinse thoroughly before reinstallation); enzyme cleaners compatible without restriction for oil and surfactant loading. Element ships with standard Unicel 90-day manufacturer’s defect warranty through authorized distribution.
